Known for his clear communication and steady guidance, Mr. Shields works closely with clients to help them navigate some of life’s most difficult challenges with both skill and compassion.

Before joining Boyd Law, Mr. Shields began his legal career as a full-time pro bono attorney at Legal Aid, where he provided critical support to survivors of domestic violence. His work in that capacity earned him special recognition by the Sonoma County Bar Association for outstanding pro bono contributions to those in crisis — an early testament to his unwavering commitment to client-centered justice.

Joshua L. Mr. Fabian has represented a diverse range of clients, including high-net-worth individuals, members of the armed services, educators, government employees, and investors. His background as a civil litigator and senior managing attorney provides him with the strategic insight to resolve family law disputes efficiently and effectively.

He earned his law degree from Thomas Jefferson School of Law after graduating from Cal Poly, where he wrote extensively on mental illness in tort law and excelled in Mock Trial.

Conner graduated summa cum laude from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. He earned his Juris Doctorate from the University of Southern California, Gould School of Law (USC).

During law school, Conner served as a judicial extern to the Honorable Steve Kim of the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California — an experience that shaped his appreciation for procedural rigor, judicial reasoning, and the practical realities of federal litigation.

Outside of the office, Conner enjoys playing golf and spending time with his family and friends.

Ethan Tidwell

Associate Attorney, Family Law Division

Ethan Tidwell is an Associate Attorney at Boyd Law, where he assists with family law cases including marital dissolution, child support, child custody and visitation, property division, post-judgment custody and support modifications, and parentage proceedings.

Prior to joining Boyd Law, Mr. Tidwell spent two years as a legal researcher for the Family Law Division of the Los Angeles Superior Court, where he advised judicial officers on several high-net-worth and complex family law cases. He also worked as an employment law advisor to the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors from 2017 to 2019.

Mr. Tidwell attended Loyola Law School, where he volunteered for several public interest law clinics — including the Employment Rights Clinic, the Shriver Housing Project, and Public Counsel’s Consumer Rights and Economic Justice Project.

Mr. Tidwell brings the discipline of judicial-side research and the rigor of public-sector advocacy to his family law practice — pairing analytical precision with a commitment to client-centered outcomes.

Abby Bulich is the Client Concierge at Boyd Law’s San Francisco office. In her role, she is dedicated to providing a welcoming and supportive experience for clients while ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations that allow our attorneys to focus on their cases.

Ms. Bulich earned her bachelor’s degree from Santa Clara University. Prior to joining Boyd Law, she gained experience interning for a boutique law firm in Santa Clara County — an early grounding in the rhythm and discretion that high-touch family law practice demands.

Outside of work, Abby enjoys exploring different San Francisco neighborhoods and restaurants, hiking, and spending time at the beach.
